This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Montoursville, PA. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for stock control, inventory control, operations management, forklift operation, and inventory management. The Warehouse/Yard Manager is expected to maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment while providing support to the crew and contributing to overall production goals.
Requirements:
Education: High school Diploma
Required Experience: 2 years Forklift & Warehouse/Yard Experience
Qualifications:
- Stock Control and Inventory Control skills. Google Drive and Sheets experience preferred.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Operate a variety of forklifts and other handling equipment
- Experience in logistics and writing bills of lading.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers, move pallets, products and materials throughout the yard safely.
- Inspects forklifts before each shift, cleans and lubricates.
- Maintain the working area free from debris and dirt.
- Complete daily paperwork.
- Performs any unskilled job at the warehouse when needed.
- Adhere to company policy by wearing mandatory personal protective equipment (company provided).
- Oversee the work crew to ensure the production goals are meet in a safe and efficient environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolong periods on standing, bending and walking.
- Endure outside weather - cold, snow and rain.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Manual dexterity as needed to operate hand & pneumatic tools.
