Warehouse Manager

Responsible for overall safety/environmental of facility along with Plant Manager including overseeing safety manager. Ensuring employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies including OSHA and EPA. Coordinates and communicates with shift supervisors, production manager, transportation, and sales. Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing, and shipping of product in accordance with policies, principles, and procedures established by the Plant Manager and/or General Manager. Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.

Reviews and approves production employee hours, schedules, benefit updates, FMLA, vacation, and sick leave.  Coordinates new hire postings on UKG and Indeed based on plant staffing needs. Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations. Manages inventory levels of all plant consumables i.e., banders, staplers, handheld radios, misc. supplies, etc.

Manages subordinate shift supervisors who supervise hourly production employees. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, scheduling, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
