CNC Industries is currently seeking a Warehouse Manager with a strong background in international shipping and logistics. This role is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and customs coordination. The Warehouse Manager works closely with production, quality, carriers, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant domestic and international logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments, including full container loads (FCL) and less-than-container loads (LCL).
- Track and monitor all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Schedule pickups for local and international shipments.
- Ensure customs clearance for all international shipments and containers upon arrival.
- Prepare and maintain all required shipping and export documentation.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and direct material handlers to ensure adherence to company processes and productivity expectations.
- Promote a positive work environment and foster a culture of continuous improvement in Quality, Health & Safety, and Productivity.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities and communicate effectively with supervisors, production, QC, and other internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all material handlers remain productive, including pre-packing parts that have received QC sign-off.
- Load and unload inventory from delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
- Verify that all incoming deliveries match company purchase orders.
- Manage inventory by identifying, cataloging, recording, and maintaining accurate inventory locations.
- Record daily material movement and unit counts using production sheets.
- Analyze customer orders, create pick sheets for QC‑approved materials, and pull appropriate products for shipment.
- Print shipping labels and oversee or assist with packing of outgoing parts.
- Ensure all customer-specific packaging requirements are followed.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Contact vendors to arrange pickups, returns, or shipment adjustments as required.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead cranes, as required.
- Ensure all material handling equipment is properly maintained, cleaned weekly, and inspected using daily checklists.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Support inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse layout to optimize material flow.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and logistics operations.
Profile and Required Skills:
- Minimum three (3) years logistics experience
- Experience with international FCL & bulk freight shipments
- Experience dealing with transload shipments
- Experience with customs brokers and customs clearances
- Working knowledgeable about local and US trucking
- Familiar with crating and packaging standards
- Experience dealing with dangerous goods shipments
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office – Excel and MRP/ERP systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor a must
Additional requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Experience with CARM considered an asset
- Knowledgeable in maintaining compliance with tariffs, HS codes, and other applicable government regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and evaluate potential challenges on a proactive basis
- Interest and the ability to learn new products, applications, tools, and technology
- Strong work ethic: strong organizational skills - demonstrated time management, ability to prioritize, multitask and maintain flexibility in a time sensitive environment
