We are currently supporting a clean energy clientone of the largest electrolyte suppliers with strong operations across Europe and North America. You will be working alongside a passionate, supportive and diverse company working on new innovative products and emerging technologies.

 

Position Overview:

This role is primarily responsible for managing Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) facilities, ensuring accurate inventory, safe and efficient material handling, and compliance with company and customer standards. The candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives at VMI sites, optimize logistics processes, and coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and special material requests with multiple plant warehouses as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. VMI Facility Operations Management

• Oversee all aspects of VMI facility operations, including inbound receiving, quality inspection, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments.

• Maintain real-time inventory data for consumables, ISO tanks, and fixed assets, and collaborate with external maintenance teams to address anomalies or asset issues.

• Manage outbound processes to ensure shipments meet customer specifications, including sampling, labeling, and final quality verification.

• Supervise empty tank return, cleaning, and inspection processes to safeguard assets and quality standards, while optimizing return logistics and exploring cost-effective routes.

• Drive operational excellence through process standardization, material flow optimization, and data accuracy improvements.

  1. Cross-Plant Collaboration & Support

• Coordinate with multiple plant warehouses to support inbound/outbound shipments, special orders, and sample requests.

• Assist in data validation, KPI reporting, and continuous improvement projects to ensure alignment between VMI operations and plant supply chain performance.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse and logistics experience; experience with VMI or multi-site operations is preferred.

• Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory management, and logistics operations.

• Experience with ISO tanks, chemical handling, or hazardous materials is a plus.

• Skilled in data analysis, KPI monitoring, and reporting.

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to lead remote teams and manage VMI facility operations.
