Responsible, self-motivated person for direct supervision of warehouse operations employees in a large multi-faceted environment. The Warehouse Lead I is responsible for organizing staff and resources to maximize workflow efficiency while reducing labor expense.
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Hours: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Day) & 4:00 pm - 2:30 am (Night)
Schedule: Monday - Saturday
(Weekend OT as needed)

Core Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight to staff in accordance with management directives.
- Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish work to meet deadlines, and departmental productivity and quality goals
- Control expense through efficient utilization of labor, materials, and company resources.
- Participates in all material handling functions for first hand evaluation of activity
- Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.
- Train employees in all aspects of their position, also ensuring cross training that can be reviewed for progress with management
- Make certain employees adhere to company policies, including safety and GMP
- Conducts weekly tailgate team meetings.
- Ensures that team members record all material movement and transactions in WMS, and that materials are routed to the correct home locations.
- Maintain all areas/products/equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
- Review the facility for cleanliness and organization, and coach up infractions
- Investigates and documents incidents and process let downs, for collaboration with management to identify root cause and implement corrective actions.
- Remain engaged with all QC/QA communications and requests to assure compliance.
- Review weekly HRR with inventory supervision to assure items are moved from live inventory and placed in designated locations.
- Monitor sample requests to ensure handled in a timely manner.
- Provide regular feedback to management on issues and activity.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalency
- Experienced on class 1 through 5 forklift equipment.
- 2 years’ experience in warehousing and/or food manufacturing / distribution environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse and/or food and beverage manufacturing environments preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
- Experience with food and beverage ingredients and inventory preferred.
