The Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Warehouse Lead to join our growing Portables team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, leading teams, and working in a fast-paced environment. The Warehouse Lead will provide logistical support to the warehouse by effectively managing workloads, driving efficiency, and ensuring deadlines are met.

The Job:

  • Receive, execute, and respond to assigned COMS Project notes for local facility.
  • Provide information to Inventory Manager to assist with billing, verifying counts and quality of those items requested on projects.
  • Count, pull, ship, and inspect all inventory as it enters and leaves facility.
  • Document and report on all damages to properties and coordinate repairs.
  • Complete RFS (Return from Show) reports on all items in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory integrity within COMS Inventory.
  • Maintain asset identification (barcode, content sheets, Czarnowski branding, etc.)
  • Organize and maintain all inventory and workspace in the warehouse lot.
  • Moving equipment and/or materials using material handling equipment.
  • Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment, including forklift, scissor lift, stand up lift, etc.
  • Lead the process of loading and unloading designated trucks.
  • Transport items to and from designated areas.
  • Effectively work leading a team to complete job within deadline.
  • Ability to successfully pull multiple orders simultaneously.

  • Employee is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Employee understands that the position is very active, and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • Employee understands the position requires remaining in a normal seated position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Employee must possess specific vision abilities, to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The Person:

  • Tradeshow/Exhibit industry experience preferred
  • Self-directed, with the ability to communicate issues, make recommendations and solve problems
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and proactive tracking of transactions
  • Able to manage and prioritize many details with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Working knowledge of supply chain and inventory management processes
  • Always maintain a professional manner in appearance and communications
  • Participate in staff and / or customer meetings if required
  • Intermediate Computer skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Knowledge of Inventory Management Systems and/or Portable programs
