SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
PERFORMANCE ABILITY
Knowledge of all processes within area of responsibility in order to make decisions, troubleshoot, and escalate issues in order to ensure orders are shipped to customers timely and accurately. Solid knowledge in Oracle, Dematic, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Collaborates with other departments on order status, processes, shipping concerns, and/or product status and availability. Coaches and leads team members on correct processes and procedures through daily touchpoints, ensuring they are accessible over the radio and on the floor. Investigates and escalates any errors with orders or pain points in processes to ID areas of opportunity and growth. Demonstrated ability to consistently meet quality, safety and efficiency goals. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively relate to team members from various backgrounds and ability to effectively coach, mentor and train staff. Strong teambuilding skills; ability to motivate, lead, and give clear and concise directions to team members; ability to communicate effectively with others; excellent attention to detail skills; and demonstrated high quality of work. Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize and calmly handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate a strong sense of urgency; and flexibility to change tasks frequently and work in different work centers as business needs require. Leads by example and acts as a role model on the floor; models NOW’s core values, tenets and servant leadership; and assumes accountability for actions. LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals (S.O.P.). Ability to accurately complete paperwork. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Bi-lingual verbal and written skills in Spanish preferred.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
REASONING ABILITY
Excellent problem solving ability. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

The employee is occasionally required to operate a PIT truck and to use hands to handle or grasp controls of lift trucks; use feet to depress foot controls of lift trucks; and operate PIT equipment with a 24 inch step. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to go to heights of up to 26 feet while on PIT.
