About the Role
Posi-Slope, a QXO company, is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient handling of custom tapered insulation systems and commercial roofing products. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll support receiving, fabrication, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities while driving safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
As a working leader, you'll provide direction and support to warehouse associates while partnering closely with Operations, Transportation, and Customer Service teams to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on schedule.
What you will do:
Lead and Develop the Team
- Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse associates to achieve productivity, quality, and safety goals
- Assign daily work activities and monitor performance throughout each shift
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment
- Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to support employee growth
Manage Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate receiving, storage, order picking, staging, and shipping activities
- Ensure customer orders and project shipments are completed accurately and on time
- Verify fabricated tapered insulation packages are labeled and prepared according to project specifications
- Monitor workflow and labor utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed
Drive Quality and Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure all orders meet Posi-Slope quality standards and customer requirements
- Identify and resolve discrepancies prior to shipment
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and service
- Recommend process improvements that reduce errors and improve operational performance
Promote Safety and Compliance
- Champion QXO and Posi-Slope safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine safety inspections and address potential hazards
- Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional warehouse environment
- Participate in incident investigations and corrective action efforts
Support Equipment and Facility Readiness
- Ensure forklifts and material handling equipment are operated safely and maintained properly
- Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs when needed
- Support overall warehouse and facility maintenance activities
What you will bring:
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of warehouse operations experience
- 1+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping processes, and inventory control
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, work orders, and project documentation
- Experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in roofing, insulation, building materials, manufacturing, or construction-related industries
- Experience supporting custom fabrication or project-based order fulfillment environments
- Knowledge of tapered insulation systems and commercial roofing materials
- Experience using ERP systems or warehouse management software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions

Pay Range
