Warehouse Helper

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Helper to join our team. This role is essential in supporting efficient warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and equipment handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse distribution and be comfortable operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and cranes. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in warehouse management systems and gain hands-on experience with heavy lifting and construction-related tasks.

Duties

• Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments using heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, and cranes
• Perform order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Support shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
• Operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, cranes, and other machinery required for warehouse operations
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Support warehouse distribution activities by loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility
• Assist with inventory management using warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Contribute to construction or maintenance tasks as needed within the warehouse or related facilities

Responsibilities

* Assist with washing and cleaning area rugs

* Vacuum, brush, and prepare rugs for cleaning

* Move rugs throughout the cleaning process

* Hang rugs for drying and remove them when dry

* Roll and package rugs for customers

* Assist with loading and unloading rugs

* Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

* Follow company procedures and safety guidelines

* Report any damage or issues found on rugs

* Work as part of a team to complete daily production goals

Requirements

* Able to lift and move heavy rugs

* Physically fit and able to perform manual labour

* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

* Positive attitude and willingness to learn

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Background check required
