Warehouse Auditor

The Auditor is responsible for verifying and accounting for all product movements in the warehouse, ensuring outbound loads meet quality standards. They audit orders, label pallets, report discrepancies, and work with staff to maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment. While this summary provides the basic duties of this position, warehouse employees may be asked to cross-train and assist in other areas.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Accurately account for all inbound and outbound product movements, ensuring quality standards on outbound loads.

· Review pick tickets and Softeon inventory for out-of-stocks, and audit orders to verify product and quantity accuracy.

· Record and remove incorrect items from orders, ensuring proper return-to-stock procedures.

· Place pallet content labels on correct pallets and ensure pallets are stable, properly shrink-wrapped, and staged in the correct loading order.

· Identify damages, report shortages or quality deficiencies, and track errors, reporting them to the warehouse supervisor.

· Work with warehouse staff to minimize or eliminate breakage and support delivery/shipping operations by staging products.

· Assign orders to forklift operators for loading and post reloads on load sheets.

· Complete required equipment inspections, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and follow all safety rules.

· Complete training, seminars, and classes as assigned, and submit required reports accurately and on time.

· Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring overall efficiency of all warehouse operations.

· Crosstrain in other areas of warehouse operation and warehouse responsibilities as needed.

· High school diploma or GED is required, with prior warehouse experience preferred.

· Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Effective communication skills and basic math skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents in English.

· Willingness to follow safety protocols, complete required training, and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. May have to lift up to 50 pounds.
