What you will be doing: 

Summary: The Warehouse Associate or Logistics Assistant is responsibility is to pull materials against orders, then assemble and pack them for delivery. Additionally, this position maintains and implements quality control procedures, testing products, and records and analyzes results data during product development and manufacturing. Maintains and documents equipment, supervise incoming and outgoing shipments and update stock records to ensure availability of items.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, according to warehouse plans and specifications
  • Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure the warehouse is in an orderly manner
  • Review warehouse documentation such as receiving and shipping logs
  • Verify packing lists for quantity, lot, expiry & wrap pallet according to packing list requirement
  • Work closely with logistics as things change unexpectedly.
  • Monitor incoming materials for allergen and animal by-products
  • Check storage conditions for received material are following specifications
  • Preform pick list checks when transferring materials from warehouse to production
  • Preform reconciliation of raw materials from dispensing back to warehouse
  • Receive materials in MRP inventory system upon receiving/transferring
  • Other related duties as assigned.



What you need to succeed:



  • Minimum 1-year of warehouse work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferable with related products or food products
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) 
  • Strong logistics background 
  • your own safety footwear to start
  • First Aid training preferred
  • Forklift certificate and proven safe forklift operation required
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills and leadership skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Fluent English (reading/speaking/writing)
  • Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
  • Have good attendance and safety record
  • Ability to perform under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly flexible, with good interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Commitment to accuracy and detail oriented.


Schedule and work conditions:

  • Monday to Friday 7:15 to 3:45 (40 hrs./week) 
  • Overtime as required 
  • Sitting on/driving forklift throughout the day
  • Walking/Bending/Reaching throughout the day
