Warehouse Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting warehouse receiving operations, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient sales floor merchandising. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and a strong understanding of receiving processes.

Duties

• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
• Assist with counting and verifying receiving accuracy
• Support in-bond warehouse activities by ensuring stock locations are moved from holding areas to storage areas based on customs clearance
• Perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading goods
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve overall warehouse operations
• Support construction or maintenance tasks related to warehouse facilities as needed

Requirements

• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts or willingness to train and certify on this equipment.
• Experience with shipping & receiving procedures, order fulfillment, and inventory management
• Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
• Knowledge of manufacturing or construction environments is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while adhering to safety protocols
