ABOUT THE ROLE
Location: Phillipsburg, New Jersey
Status: Full-Time / 100% On-Site
Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 / annually
The Warehouse Associate 3PL will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, operational reporting, and communication between HQ and our 3PL partner. This position is responsible for helping ensure inbound and outbound operations are executed efficiently, operational priorities are clearly communicated, and productivity expectations are met.
This role will work closely with both HQ and warehouse teams to monitor inventory accuracy, track operational performance, maintain reporting, and help resolve issues that may impact workflow, fulfillment, or receiving timelines. The position will also support operational analysis initiatives by reviewing data, maintaining reports, identifying trends, and presenting operational updates and productivity insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Excel is required, and experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Responsibilities:
Inbound / Receiving & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date receiving logs, ensuring all inbound shipments have valid ASNs and are processed within expected timelines.
Escalate issues related to missing ASNs, UPC discrepancies, receiving delays, or any issues preventing the warehouse from processing shipments.
Help prioritize inbound ASNs to support timely receiving and inventory availability.
Maintain and update inbound projections with the warehouse team to support planning ahead of high-volume inbound periods.
Monitor and report inventory discrepancies, shortages, damages, or receiving issues.
Document damaged shipments and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
Communicate QC requirements to warehouse teams, ensure proper follow-up, and provide updates back to HQ.
Coordinate VAS (Value-Added Services) projects with the warehouse team and monitor execution through completion.
Coordinate and oversee the executions of special projects and timelines.
Outbound Operations
Share B2C and B2B projections to ensure the warehouse is properly staffed and prepared during peak periods.
Monitor daily outbound productivity and ensure shipping goals are being met.
Review daily “suspended status” order reports to ensure inventory accuracy and identify fulfillment issues.
Review daily B2C Aged orders report and help drive timely resolution.
Identify and communicate operational risks or issues that may impact deadlines.
Review and communicate special packaging requirements for outbound shipments.
Verify the accuracy of shipment details and transportation updates shared by the 3PL with HQ.
Coordinate with truck carriers to track outbound shipments, pickup scheduling and assist in resolving delivery issues.
Reporting & Communication
Serve as a key point of contact between HQ and the 3PL warehouse partner.
Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to create productivity and performance reports.
Maintain Excel trackers, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
Utilize Tableau reports to identify trends, operational gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare weekly and monthly operational summaries for leadership.
Present operational updates, reporting, and action plans during team meetings.
Travel to HQ once per month for meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
REQUIREMENTS
2 - 3 years of warehouse administrative / operations experience.
2+ years of handling 3PL.
2+ years of inventory management and logistics preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required, including Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis.
Experience working with Tableau or similar reporting tools preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable presenting operational updates and reporting to teams and leadership.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
