Job Summary:
Atelier Maison & Co. is the region's elevated furniture studio, offering heirloom quality, healthy
non-toxic furnishings nationwide, with locations in Asheville and Cashiers, NC.
The responsibility of this position is executing specialized work efficiently, with confidence and
competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact
correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this
position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat
faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detailed, specialized work is the
major focus. The person in this position will require clearly defined work, responsibilities, and
reporting relationships, ongoing and thorough training opportunities to develop expertise and
increase confidence, and frequently expressed appreciation of the person’s competence,
conscientiousness, and loyalty. The position will provide security in a stable work environment,

Supervisory Requirements: This position does not require supervision of other Team members
Language Skills: Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret documents, operating instructions, procedure manuals, correspondence, and technical information. Must be able to write reports, summaries, and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively to present information and respond to questions from managers, designers, vendors, clients, construction teams, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; Must be able to calculate percentages and pricing based on rates and quantities.
Reasoning & Cognitive Ability: Must be able to solve practical problems and find workable solutions, given the available products and methods. Strong cognitive skills are required for this position, such as the ability to think and discern quickly, the ability to process new information quickly, and strong thought processes and memory retention, sustained attention, auditory processing, and short-term memory.
Education and/or Experience: Associates’s Degree from a two-year trade school, college or university is a plus. Minimum two to four years work experience in the warehouse and logistics field. Must have knowledge and proficiency of warehouse and logistics best practices
Certificates, Licenses or Registrations: Driver’s license. Forklift certification.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Suite and Point of Sale softwares.
Cognitive Abilities: High cognitive function is required, such as high performance of the mental processes of perception, learning, memory, understanding, awareness, reasoning, judgment, intuition, and language.
Travel Requirements: Travel to job sites, trade offices, showroom locations etc. is required. Travel for training and/or awards may be required on an as-needed basis.
Physical Demands: must be able to lift 50 pounds, on an occasional basis. Must be able to sit or stand at a computer for long periods of time.
Vision: Must be able to see the computer screen, clearly see materials and details of work, and read Shipping/receiving delivery tickets and checklists.
Work Environment: A small portion of the work for this role may be performed remotely, but this position is classified as an in-person, full-time role. Event oversight and management is required to be in person at the event.
