ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Operational Leadership & Strategy
-
Establish and lead the national go-to-market and ongoing program management strategy for MSK VBC programs, ensuring alignment with organizational performance objectives, payor engagements, and population health goals.

Guide enterprise operations initiatives focused on improving network engagement, patient engagement, provider and member experience, and VBC program performance.
-
Mentor Network Management teams across all markets.
Oversight of Project Management
-
Directly supervise and mentor Director, VBC Project Management
-
Establish consistent operational processes, performance expectations, and accountability standards across regions.
-
Oversee processes for network accreditation with national agencies like URAC
-
Oversee development of presentation materials for internal meetings with Executive Leadership and the Board
Provider Engagement & Education
-
Work with Vice President - VBC Network Management, Vice President -VBC Care Management, Medical Directors and VBC CMO to develop and implement processes to support provider engagement and performance improvement.

Ensure coordinated execution of national network development and management through work with Vice President - VBC Network Management and VBC CMO.
Data-Driven Improvement
-
Working with VBC leadership team, oversee review of key performance metrics and reporting requirements for all stakeholders, across all value-based programs.

Partner with medical economics, network management, clinical operations, and medical director teams to identify opportunities for performance improvement and translate insights into operational actions.

Enhance the development of leading indicators and data insights critical to proactively manage performance across markets

Direct enterprise performance improvement initiatives designed to enhance quality metrics, outcomes, and contract performance.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
-
Provide VBC and operational expertise support in payer, employer, and other client-facing engagements.

Support value-based contract development, negotiations, and performance reviews with subject matter expertise.

Communicate operational strategies, performance, and improvement initiatives to executive stakeholders and clients
Governance & Compliance
-
Work with HOPCo Legal, VBC CMO, Medical Directors and Clinical Operations teams to support compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies across all markets.

Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
EDUCATION
-
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
EXPERIENCE
-
Minimum ten years of direct experience with consistently increasing scope and scale of responsibility in healthcare consulting, value-based care program management, and operations.

Experience working with and influencing large groups of providers in performance enhancement strategies
KNOWLEDGE
-
Extensive knowledge of value-based care programs, quality improvement philosophy, models, and processes within a healthcare organization.

Knowledge of quality management, health information technology, and the use of data to drive physician performance and practice efficiency
-
Deep understanding ofâ¯VBC reimbursement modelsâ¯(population health, risk-based models, shared savings, episodes of care, and capitation).

Knowledge of quality, financial and operational metrics for program success
-
Knowledge of clinical care processes.
-
Knowledge of program operations, performance and quality improvement initiatives and how to develop and implement strategic plans across a value-based care network.

Proficiency of knowledge in health informatics and population health management

Skill in using computer applications to effectively produce needed reports to identify trends.

Skill in evaluation, analysis, and presentation of data to providers and committees.

Skill in communicating effectively with all stakeholders across the medical ecosystem including but not limited to physicians, healthcare administrators/systems and insurers.

Ability to mentor and train staff across the VBC team.

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to various levels of staff.
