Job Title: VP Supply Chain, Global Transformation

Location: This position can be worked out of any of StandardAero’s major North American sites.

Scottsdale AZ / San Antonio TX / Maryville TN / Dallas TX / Winnipeg MB CA

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven VP Supply Chain, Global Transformation to provide operational leadership and drive transformation initiatives across all supply chain functions in our divisions. This role will define and execute the supply chain transformation roadmap, optimize operations, and deliver measurable business impact while managing budgets, supplier relationships, and enterprise-level planning initiatives.

The Supply Chain organization spans 50 sites with 580 professionals, supporting disassembly, inspection, component repair, assembly, and testing for commercial and military aviation customers. The division currently generates $5.6B in revenue and $500M EBITDA, with growth expected to exceed $7B over the next five years due to program expansion (LEAP and CFM56).

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Transformation:

  • Lead/define and execute the supply chain transformation roadmap aligned with enterprise strategy.

  • Lead benchmark industry Supply C best practices and introduce innovative operating models to improve Supply Chain at all division sites.

  • Lead with cross functional teams’ business cases for digitalization, automation, and process improvement initiatives for Supply Chain.

  • Lead from the SC side the deployment of advanced tools (ERP, S&OP/SIOP, AI/ML forecasting, analytics, supplier portals).

Material Planning and Forecasting:

  • Lead the development of robust demand, supply and financial forecasts to support long range and annual program plans and monthly business reviews

  • Implement advance forecasting methodologies and tools, leveraging analytics, predictive modeling and market intelligence. 

  • Ensure planning processes integrate program strategy, operational capacity and customer requirements 

Supply Chain Talent & Functional Capability Development:

  • Build next-gen supply chain skillset (analytics, planning, supplier collaboration, digital fluency, sourcing)

  • Mentor and coach leaders & teams in SC transformation initiatives
  • Define any new organizational structure, roles and competencies for the Supply Chain

Procurement & Supplier Management Performance

  • Build and manage strong OEM and Supplier Partnerships to foster long-term value creation

  • Establish and track supplier/OEM KPIs including quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and compliance with contract requirements 

  • Lead the material management availability including the on-time availability of parts, consumable, repairs, etc

  • Manage shortages and expedite critical materials to increase delivery of engines and repairs to customers on time.

 

Inventory & Logistics Management

  • Optimize with sites  ~$750M million in sites inventory across new materials, rotable parts, and consumables.

  • Balance service level requirements with working capital targets.

  • Manage bonded stores and ensure parts traceability and certification.

  • Monitor and Manage/Recover Excess & Obsolesce (E&O) inventory

Optimize freight cost while ensuring critical deliveries

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business or a related field required.

  • Minimum 10 Years progressive supply chain leadership experience, preferably within aerospace, aviation, or MRO industries.

  • Minimum 10 Years demonstrated success managing procurement budgets, vendors, and subcontractor performance.

  • Minimum 10 Years strong knowledge of material forecasting and planning

  • Vision Setting – Ability to define a future state supply chain aligned with enterprise strategy.

  • Change Management: Driving adoption, overcoming resistance, and embedding new ways of working

  • Driving change across the functions, regions, and business units

  • Building the future ready supply chain teams with digital and analytical capabilities

  • Financial Acumen: Improvement to P&L, proven track record of driving cost savings, improving efficiency, and mitigating supply chain risks.

  • Process & Operational Excellence: End to End process redesign, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is highly preferred, supplier collaboration, SIOP/IBP mastery

  • Expertise in ERP/MRP systems and supply chain management tools.

  • AI/ML & automation- Leveraging AI and predictive analytics for forecasting, procurement, and logistics

  • Supply Chain certifications such as CPIM, CPSM

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • MBA preferred.
