THE OPPORTUNITY
VP, Regional Operations Managers represent our Bank to the community and make our customers feel welcome, assisting clients by providing a superior level of service with their financial transactions. Will also be responsible for promoting the Bank's services and oversees the compliance and operations within the branch. The VP, Regional Operations Manager is required to travel between temporary assignments at branch offices within a designated region. They are responsible for processing cash and non-cash transactions in accordance with company policy and procedures, providing superior customer service. Mileage will be paid for travel between assignments. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Bank’s policies.
- Perform and supervise quality control activities.
- Plan and schedule the daily workflow and coordinate with other areas as required to ensure compliance with service standards and regulatory deadlines.
- Assure high quality and friendly customer service.
- Resolve customer inquiries/complaints and situations in a positive professional and efficient manner.
- Assist Regional Administrator with periodic training of staff in required areas
- Assist Regional Administrator with special report preparation and review
- Approve transactions within established guidelines.
- Review and fully comprehend daily reports.
- Assist in conducting audits and achieve satisfactory audit ratings.
- Assist in reviewing monthly certifications for branches.
- Identify and mitigate audit ratings.
- Expense control.
- Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
- Manage, support, coach and train staff based on the needs of the business
- Be able to effectively run a branch in case of absence of branch management or when needed
- Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
- Prepare and deliver employee performance evaluations, goal planning, and counselings.
- Manage, support, coach and train employees.
- Follow all established policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 7 years in branch operations with 4 years supervisory experience is required High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Associate’s degree or higher is preferred
- Mastery of understanding of the operational regulatory environment with thorough knowledge of banking operations is required
- Solid understanding of key branch systems; basic end-user knowledge of Word and Excel is required
- Detailed and accurate with ability to organize and prioritize; exhibits high degree of flexibility; able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; can manage and organize projects and workloads is required
- Ability to travel between branch locations, potentially across states; review and be knowledgeable of departmental and human resource’s policies & procedures is required
- Mastery of skills to manage or guide others as a floating or interim manager when needed is required
- Manages high quality and friendly client service and adherence to brand standards; excels in ability to identify opportunities to refer new products and services to clients based on their financial goals; ability to service client needs to completion is required
- Establishes and maintains relationships internally and externally by understanding needs; regularly seeks out opportunities to mentor and train other team members for success is required
- Engages others in a friendly and reliable manner; listens to hear expressed and unexpressed needs and translate that to action is required
- Actively seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand skillset; ability to answer questions without all the information and to be comfortable and successful in multiple different environments
- Able to drive results through others and able to problem solve with minimal direction and is effective across multiple concurrent tasks is required
- Manages their own risk and beginning to take on some responsibility for the risk of the broader branch; beginning to understand how strategic plans mitigate risk is required
- Demonstrates ability to guide and coach team as an interim/as-needed manager is required

SALARY RANGE
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
