The Volunteer Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the positive tone, environment, and success of the in-house volunteer experience. They will oversee and support various projects including but not limited to Sorting, Repack, CSFP, Loose Repack and Produce Bag programs. This position assists in organizing the safety and flow of the work area for both set up and breakdown and hands-on support to the volunteers throughout each shift. The position requires good communication skills in both public -facing circumstances and with internal Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) staff. This individual works directly with the Volunteer Operations Supervisor for inventory accuracy, data entry and creating a memorable and fulfilling volunteer experience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt role working 40 hours per week eligible for overtime for any hours worked over 40 in any work week. Work schedule will be from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Tuesday - Saturday.
