Accor is recruiting a VIE Indirect Procurement Buyer for North Central America (NCA), based in Toronto, to join its Group Procurement Organization. Reporting to the Global Indirect Procurement organization, this role will contribute to the execution and development of the Indirect Procurement Policy in NCA, with a focus on Marketing, IT, Professional Services, and other sourced categories for Luxury & Lifestyle (Raffles, Fairmont, …) brands, and occasionally Premium and Midscale divisions (ibis, Mercure, Novotel,…) in the region.
Responsibilities
• Procurement Mapping: Contribute to the mapping of procurement categories within the NCA perimeter.
• Policy Implementation: Support the implementation of Accor’s global procurement policy in partnership with Finance.
• Tool Deployment: Participate in the deployment and adoption of the Procure-to-Pay tool (Coupa, named Aspen internally) for the region.
• Source-to-Pay Processes: Contribute to Source-to-Pay activities for Indirect categories in NCA.
• Supplier Sourcing: Support supplier sourcing activities using Accor’s sourcing methodology.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Participate in negotiations and contract discussions with internal and legal teams.
• Tender Management: Support tenders from preparation to implementation.
• Purchase Requests: Contribute to the review and follow-up of purchase requests in Coupa (Aspen).
• Long Tail Optimization: Contribute to the optimization of low-value purchases.
• Expense Optimization: Support initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Support stakeholder relationships and promote procurement best practices.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Contribute to KPI tracking with Finance.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Support regional supplier management and corporate initiatives.
Requirements
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• First experience in Procurement, Consulting, Finance or Project Management is a plus.
• Strong interest in Indirect Procurement (Marketing, IT, Professional Services).
• Fluent English & French.
• Interest in Procure-to-Pay solutions (Coupa, Ivalua, ...) is a plus.
