Van Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a professional with strong communication skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving items. Duties

• Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Assist with moving heavy or bulky items within warehouses or delivery sites
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
• Maintain proper documentation of deliveries and pickups
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any issues
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries professionally

Experience

• Previous experience in commercial driving or warehouse operations preferred
• Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus but not required
• Experience in moving heavy items safely and efficiently
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and logistics is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
