Program Eligibility: 

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursuing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree   

  • Graduating between Spring 2026 - Fall 2028   

  • Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing or transportation accommodations) 

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.) 

  • Commit to 20 - 40 hours per week (based on individual business area)

2026 Summer Internship Program Dates: June 8 - August 14, 2026 

UMPG: North America Administration (Onsite: TN) 

How You’ll CREATE: 

The North America Administration team at UMPG encompasses Copyright, Royalties, Client Services, Mechanical Licensing, Income Tracking, and Audit functions. The team administers deals signed in the US and Canada and partners with internal global administration teams as part of UMPG's global administration unit. 

  • Preparation and reconciliation of incoming royalty statements for processing and calculation
  • Contract administration assistance along the team's Copyright unit 
  • Analytics review and data insights projects in support of income tracking and client support needs
  • Payee data projects as part of the Client Services function 
  • Analysis of control procedures to ensure UMPG's compliance processes remain effective 
  • Royalty reporting, helping to assist with financial reconciliation and sign‐off
  • Participation in deployment efforts with AI tools 

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • Desire to implement AI solutions 
  • Exposure or experience working with business intelligence tools (DOMO, QuickSight, Power BI, Tableau, Google Looker) 
  • Inquisitive approach 

MCA: Streaming (Onsite: TN) 

How You’ll CREATE: ​

The streaming department at MCA is responsible for overseeing all digital distribution partnerships and audio and video streaming strategies for artists globally. 

  • Compile, format, and distribute the weekly update report for digital partners, ensuring accuracy and completeness. 
  • Manage and oversee the digital release schedule, aligning partner and company priorities for optimal visibility and execution. 
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver artist and project assets as needed, maintaining strong communication and organizational flow. 
  • Liaise across multiple departments to collaborate across our weekly releases and campaigns 
  • Coordinate and send the weekly Social Support email, including sourcing and collecting assets, drafting content, building links, and ensuring timely delivery. 
  • Conduct domestic artist profile checks to maintain accurate and up-to-date digital presence across platforms. 
  • Prepare and distribute weekly release reports to internal departments, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned. 
  • Track and monitor release deliveries through internal delivery systems, troubleshooting and escalating as required to meet deadlines.

MCA: Creative (Onsite: TN)

How You’ll CREATE: 

  • Shooting, editing, designing, archiving assets digitally and physically. Research projects, making moodboards.
  • Assisting Commissioners and Coordinators with organizational tasks associated to music video or photo shoot production
  • Photo Retouching
  • Editing Video Content
  • Reformatting assets and assisting with video/photo deliveries
  • Design Lay Out for Cover Art, Social Assets, etc.
  • Archiving Hard Drives & Files
  • Opportunities to be work on set

Ideal candidates will have: 

  • Be creative. Collaborative, 
  • Have Adobe Suite experience including Photoshop and Premiere, Divinci and Lightroom
  • Organizational skills and help assist creative team with archiving assets
