Purpose and Scope

The Treasury Operations Manager is a key member of Tolmar’s Finance organization, responsible for leading day-to-day treasury operations that support a growing pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This role ensures strong cash management, banking operations, internal controls, and treasury systems that enable Tolmar’s continued global expansion. The position partners closely with Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Supply Chain, and commercial teams to deliver financial stability, compliance, and operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Cash & Liquidity Management

  • Lead daily cash positioning and liquidity management across Tolmar’s U.S. and international entities.
  • Maintain and enhance Tolmar’s short‑term and long‑range cash forecasting process, ensuring visibility to working capital needs and capital investment plans.
  • Manage intercompany funding, settlements, and cash pooling structures as Tolmar expands globally.

Banking & Payments Operations

  • Serve as primary contact for Tolmar’s banking partners; ensure strong relationship management and service optimization.
  • Maintain Tolmar’s bank account structure, service platforms, and banking documentation.
  • Oversee daily payment operations, including wires, ACH, international payments, and treasury‑controlled disbursements.
  • Ensure bank signatories, user entitlements, and payment workflows comply with Tolmar’s internal control framework.

Treasury Systems & Process Optimization

  • Manage Tolmar’s Treasury technology, including integrations with ERP systems and enhancements aligned to business growth.
  • Evaluate and implement automation opportunities to support a more scalable treasury function.
  • Maintain strong SOX‑aligned internal controls, documentation, and audit support.

Insurance and Financial Risk Management

  • Manage global corporate insurance policies, including renewal negotiations and premium payments.
  • Coordinate with insurance brokers and risk management teams to file and track claims.
  • Review insurance coverage limits and deductibles to ensure adequate risk protection.
  • Support the assessment and monitoring of foreign currency exposures as Tolmar’s international footprint increases.
  • Assist with execution and documentation of hedging programs, if required.
  • Maintain policies and controls related to investment management, borrowing, and financial instrument activities.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Deliver reporting on liquidity, cash flows, debt, interest, and banking metrics.
  • Support month‑end close, including treasury-related journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
  • Provide timely treasury insights to senior leadership, including scenario modeling and ad‑hoc analysis related to strategy, capital projects, or acquisitions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5–7+ years of treasury or corporate finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of cash management, banking operations, payments, and treasury controls.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems and ERP environments.
  • Professional certification (CTP, CFA, FPAC) or progress toward one.
  • Experience in a global corporate environment.
  • Experience managing or implementing treasury systems or automation projects.

 

Working Conditions

  • Office environment; requiring sitting and standing.
  • Overnight travel is required up to 20%.
  • Travel by air as required.
  • Availability to work extra hours and on weekends as necessary.
