As a Travel Operations Manager – Vice President, in Global Supplier Services, you will oversee day‑to‑day corporate travel operations, administer policy, and manage supplier performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a consistent traveler experience, streamline processes, and drive measurable improvements in service and cost. In this role, you will balance operational execution with strategic program development and executive reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Lead daily travel operations to improve program effectiveness and productivity; administer global travel policy and implement strategies to increase compliance
Execute travel supplier strategies; manage strategic relationships and performance against agreed service levels and outcomes
Collaborate across business lines and stakeholders to ensure a consistent global user experience and unified approach to operations
Oversee the travel management company partnership, including operational issues, SLA adherence, and management reporting systems
Identify savings opportunities and service enhancements; initiate process improvements and deploy benchmarking best practices
Partner with Risk to manage duty‑of‑care matters and coordinate responses to travel incidents and disruptions
Drive online booking adoption and user experience optimization in Online Booking Tool (OBT) by curating and managing content sources, optimizing fare and ancillary displays, and stewarding hotel content and rate access; lead communications, training, and change management to improve conversion and policy compliance.
Govern end‑to‑end online tool configuration and governance: policy and rule management, audit rules, approval workflows, travel groups/eligibility, custom fields, company locations, and localization for regional variants.
Orchestrate the OBT release and enhancement lifecycle: intake and prioritize requests, coordinate UAT/regression with global stakeholders, troubleshoot production issues, maintain documentation and runbooks, and track KPIs (adoption, leakage, compliance, error rates); ensure stable data flows for profiles, e‑receipts, expense, and duty‑of‑care integrations.
Manage alignment with HRIS feeds, user provisioning/deprovisioning, role/permission models, arranger/delegate setups, and hierarchy maintenance; ensure data quality and controls. Including globalization: configure country specific requirements (tax, rail networks, payment norms, language), and maintain consistent traveler experience across regions
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills
Highly Organized, excellent oral and written communication; persuasive, executive‑ready presenter with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to establish objectives and relevant metrics; supplier management expertise; high attention to detail; results‑oriented and accountable
Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office
Integrate content and suppliers: TMC and GDS queue mapping, PNR finishing/mid‑office remarks, passive segments, direct connects/NDC enablement; curate LCC/rail content and apply content source hierarchy
Optimize air, hotel, and rail UX: branded fare/ancillary display strategies, fare class controls, unused ticket/credit usage rules, hotel rate access (LRA/NLRA, chain deals), and rate‑loading audit coordination and reduce off‑channel leakage through training and targeted communications
Minimum 7 years of corporate travel industry experience; demonstrated cross‑functional and supplier collaboration; project planning, scheduling, and tracking; ability to travel as needed
Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills
OBT Intelligence/Analytics expertise (custom universes, self‑service dashboards); experience with TripLink/TripIt to capture off‑channel bookings.
Familiarity with GDS (Amadeus/Sabre) workflows, airline NDC programs, and TMC mid/back‑office processes
Experience with virtual payments and hotel rate audits; exposure to re‑shopping tools and unused ticket/credit automation
Experience/interest in building AI into ongoing processes within the Corporate Travel environment
