Transportation Manager Summer 2027

Join a global company with international exposure as a Transportation Manager for Summer 2027! In this role, you'll take overall responsibility for the summer transportation operations, overseeing student arrivals and departures, as well as the daily transportation logistics for all our students. You'll coordinate schedules, oversee the transportation team and ensure everything runs smoothly, providing students and staff with a seamless experience throughout the summer. What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the full transportation operation throughout the summer, ensuring all logistics are planned and executed efficiently.
  • Support the airport coordinator with student arrival and departures, ensuring appropriate meet-and-greet arrangements are in place and students receive a smooth welcome and departure experience.
  • Coordinate and manage transportation bookings and schedules for all our students.
  • Lead and support the transportation team, ensuring tasks are delegated effectively and operations run smoothly.
  • Work closely with transport providers, schools and internal teams to coordinate requirements and resolve any issues.
  • Monitor transportation arrangements, anticipate potential challenges and take initiative to find effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records, schedules and transportation plans, ensuring attention to detail across all aspects of the operation.

  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented. You can take initiative, make decisions and remain calm under pressure.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with different people and managing a team.
  • A team player who is equally comfortable planning and coordinating behind the scenes as being hands-on when needed.
  • Responsible, flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with spreadsheets and data.
  • Fluent in English and legally eligible to work in Malta (Maltese/EU passport or valid work permit).

Details:

  • Duration: Contracts starting in May and running until August. Start date can be discussed.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 6-day work weeks on a shift basis.
  • Safeguarding: All roles are subject to police conduct checks and character reference checks.
  • Training: In-house training and support will be provided before and throughout the summer.

 

In line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (Directive (EU) 2023/970) and Legal Notice 173 of 2026, the initial pay range for this role is €1500 to €1900 gross per month.
