In this position, you will have the opportunity to provide support to the Central Distribution Centre, to ensure timely and accurate service on the coordination of transportation services for the Supply Management team.   • Term length: 12 months
  • Term start: January 2026
  • Job location: Nisku, AB
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2 - 8 hours (weekend work / on call rotation may be required)

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the coordination of transportation services for the Supply Management team
  • Work with carriers to achieve Canadian Natural’s business needs
  • Arrange critical expedited freight (Hot Shots)
  • Consult on logistical service needs for other business units and projects for Canadian Natural
  • Audit service provider invoices
  • Understand and provide guidance on basic customs requirements for importing/exporting from Canada
  • Assist with ongoing logistics activities for Major Projects
  • Complete Worksite Safety Hazard Assessments
  • Assist with the generation of supporting data and forms for regulatory application submissions, reports and publications

What You Bring to The Role:

  • Currently enrolled in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of an undergraduate degree (or minor) in Supply Chain Management or relevant program
  • Possess a minimum of a valid Class 5 GDL Alberta driver’s license or equivalent out of province license
  • Knowledge of the following are assets:
    • MS Office Suite
    • Understanding of Warehousing and Distribution
    • Understanding of Dangerous Goods Transportation, ground, sea and air
    • Knowledge of customs documentation and compliance
