As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating driver schedules and supporting the logistics of outbound shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily transportation schedules to optimize fleet utilization (lbs/trip, stops/trip, and route efficiency)
  • Dispatch drivers and communicate delivery expectations, route changes, and customer requirements
  • Track shipments and provide updates on delivery status to internal teams and customers
  • Maintain and update transportation data within Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
  • Assist with KPI tracking and reporting on transportation performance and expenses
  • Support resolution of delivery issues, delays, and service concerns with customers and suppliers
  • Coordinate efficient truck loading and unloading to align with operational standards
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all transportation and logistics activities
  • Utilize SAP tools to help improve on-time delivery (OTD) performance

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 plus year of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience
  • Basic knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

Wage: $28.90 - $43.34 hourly. A starting hourly wage higher than $28.90 is based on a level of experience and education that significantly exceeds the minimum requirements and is commensurate with the compensation scale.
