Key Responsibilities
- Pick up clients from their home or designated location and transport them safely to appointments or errands
- Assist clients with wheelchair-to-vehicle transfers and vice versa
- Stay with clients during appointments if needed and provide return transportation
- Drop clients off at their desired location and pick them up at scheduled times
- Assist with light errands during outings (pharmacy, groceries, etc.)
- Provide companionship and ensure clients feel comfortable and supported throughout the trip
- Maintain clear communication with clients and the care team
- Document visits and report any concerns or changes in client condition
Requirements
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Reliable personal vehicle (lower vehicle preferred for easier transfers)
- Vehicle must be in good to excellent condition with a clean interior
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to safely assist with mobility and transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous caregiving or transportation experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
