The Transportation Administrator supports the daily operations of Ashley’s Final Mile delivery network by ensuring accurate scheduling, compliance, and documentation for all transportation activities. This role acts as a key liaison between drivers, dispatch, and management to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency.
Key duties:
ï· Route & Schedule Coordination: Assist with planning and assigning delivery routes to ensure timely service.
ï· Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate DOT records, driver logs, and vehicle inspection reports.
ï· Communication Hub: Act as the main contact for drivers and dispatch, resolving delivery issues promptly.
ï· Reporting: Generate and distribute transportation performance and cost reports.
ï· Administrative Tasks: Manage billing paperwork, fuel card tracking, and other operational documentation.
ï· Safety Support: Help implement safety programs and monitor adherence to FMCSA and company standards.

Job Qualifications

Education: |
· High School Diploma is required.
|

Experience: |
· 1 years experience in delivery, distribution, logistics, and/or facility management with warehousing. · 1+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams. |

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities |
· Must possess strong analytical skills using data and reporting. · Microsoft, Power BI, WMS experience · Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience. · Ability to lead team in company driven processes and procedures. · Experience coaching for improvement |
