In this role, you will serve as a direct aide to the Traffic Studies Supervisor, focusing on the execution and evaluation of various engineering recommendations derived from comprehensive traffic studies. Your responsibilities will include analyzing factors related to speed limits, the implementation of multi-way stops, and the enforcement of turn and truck restrictions. Additionally, you will be involved in the establishment of one-way and two-way street configurations, as well as conducting studies on passing zones and truck climbing lanes. Your work will also encompass assessing intersection and stopping sight distances, identifying hazardous walking routes, and performing mid-block crosswalk studies, along with other investigations aimed at enhancing operational safety. This position requires a keen attention to detail and a thorough understanding of traffic engineering principles to ensure effective recommendations are made based on the data collected.
