Taxi Dispatcher

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Taxi Dispatcher to coordinate and manage daily taxi operations. The ideal candidate will efficiently handle dispatching duties, communicate effectively with drivers and customers, and utilize transportation management systems to ensure smooth service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Taxi Dispatcher plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our transportation services.

Responsibilities

• Assign drivers to trips based on customer requests, driver availability, and location to ensure prompt service
• Receive and process ride requests via multi-line phone systems and digital platforms
• Dispatch taxis promptly using transportation management systems
• Coordinate with drivers to assign pickups, monitor progress, and ensure timely arrivals
• Maintain accurate data entry of ride details, driver logs, and customer information
• Communicate effectively with drivers and customers, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professionalism

Requirements

• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and typing proficiency
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
• Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a busy environment
• Customer service orientation to ensure high satisfaction and positive interactions

We value proactive team members who can contribute to the efficiency of our transportation services however candidates that are currently in New Brunswick and is legally eligible to work in Canada will be considered.

Pay: $15.90-$18.00 per hour
