POSITION: Talent Advisor (Full-Time, Exempt)

DIRECT REPORT: Manager, Talent Acquisition

COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $72,000 -$75,000 plus comprehensive and lucrative performance bonus potential. ​Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. SUMMARY

 The Talent Advisor at Cardinal Group Companies is much more than a recruiter. We are the evangelists and guardians of the brand, the advocates for our teammates' career goals, and the experts in modern talent acquisition. This offering is looking to bring on a top-level communicator in the Multifamily Maintenance space. You will be developing - in conjunction with our facilities team, a talent platform that will both work to bring Cardinal to the maintenance world as well as to act as the direct resource for our maintenance teams who are looking to turn a multifamily maintenance job into a facilities career.

RESPONSIBILITIES (Including but not limited to)

  • Engage and recruit top talent in the building facilities and systems roles for all Cardinal Group Companies
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure an effective and timely recruiting process.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of recruiting sources in our communities throughout the United States. Recommend effective sourcing strategies for each position.
  • Establish appropriate screening questions. Schedule and conduct phone screen interviews, vetting for culture, personality, compensation requirements, fundamental technical skills, and targeted competencies.
  • Provide value-added customer service to hiring managers and top candidates throughout the recruiting cycle.
  • Assist hiring managers with reference checks as needed.
  • Recommend and negotiate total reward packages.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from candidate status to team member onboarding.
  • Train hiring managers on the applicant tracking system and monitor progress daily.
  • Create Hiring Manager Interview Guides and coach hiring managers to use legally compliant and highly effective interview skills.
  • Be a subject matter expert in leveraging talent acquisition-based social media strategies to identify active and passive candidates.
  • Prepare weekly reports with recruiting metrics, project status and recommendations.
  • Attend industry events and promote job opportunities at Cardinal. Share promotional ideas with Community Managers and encourage their participation at events in their communities.
  • Work with placement firms for temporary hiring needs as required.
  • Build relationships with industry and educational professionals to develop additional sourcing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant multifamily experience with an emphasis on facilities
  2. Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience in a high volume, full-cycle environment
  3. Ability to develop relationships with candidates and hiring managers through excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to deliverables
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  5. MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  6. Ability to maximize applicant tracking software and social medial strategies
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with a high attention to detail
  8. Demonstrated creativity with issue resolution and “out of the box” thinking
  9. Ability to be influential, self-motivated, self-managed, and high organized
  10. Ability to work as a team player and respect those you work with
  11. Ability to embrace change and new ideas
