POSITION DETAILS
JOB PURPOSE
Assist Swatcher in preparing swatches of fabric/leather for retail stores/customers as requested.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare Swatches by attaching corner ID labels and surging edges.
• Work with supervisor to maintain inventory of swatches.
• Assist with preparation of swatch mailings to stores.
• Other duties assigned by the manager.
• Regular and predictable performance of job duties
WORKING CONDITIONS
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plant with concrete floors.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience in furniture Swatching.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent

REQUIRED SKILLS
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to read a ruler.
• Must have good vision.
• Must be able to read an order email/ticket.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to use scissors and/or electric cutters to cut fabric/leather.
• Must be quality minded.
• Must be able to perform and meet established goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strict attention to detail is a must.
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
• Must be able to stand/walk for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate work instructions and job-related information in English.
• Must be able to wear required safety PPE such as Safety Glasses and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
