More about our team

Sovah Health is a regional health care delivery system with 2 hospital campuses – Danville and Martinsville. Each facility has a 24/7 Emergency Room, Outpatient Imaging Center, and over 20 primary and specialty care physician clinics. Our Danville location is also a teaching hospital that trains medical students and physician residents specializing in family and internal medicine.

How you’ll contribute

A Supply Chain Technician who excels in this role is responsible for stocking and maintaining supplies across hospital departments using computer-assisted tools and standard inventory practices to support efficient patient care operations:

  • Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
  • Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into inventory system, delivers items to departments or facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
  • Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.

What we’re looking for 

Applicants need to possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.

  • High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak, understand).
