POSITION: Supply Chain Specialist REPORTS TO: Supply Chain Manager
We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join our Supply Chain team! Our Supply Chain Specialist will be sourcing and purchasing ingredients for our delicious, plant-powerful products.

EXPERIENCE
You have proven experience in a high-stress fast-paced environment, preferably in the food industry.
You have 3 -5+ years of sourcing and purchasing experience in a manufacturing facility.
NICE-TO-HAVE
You have experience purchasing packaging and food ingredients.
You have knowledge of international trade and experience working with customs broker.
You have post-secondary education in supply chain management.
THINGS YOU WILL DO…
Champion procurement activities in a busy food production environment.
Maintain optimal inventory levels, manage material requirements and associated logistics.
Source food ingredients and packaging ensuring items purchased follow established policies and procedures.
Troubleshoot with internal and external stakeholders on resolving issues such as pricing, delays, deliveries, quality and inventory.
Negotiate and track contracts with suppliers providing analytical data and reports to support.
May on occasion work at various times including weekends, as the job requires.
Ability to travel as needed to visit suppliers and attend industry events
