In this role, you will be working as a Supply Chain Specialist for a client that works in the manufacturing industry.  This position will be responsible for the coordination and purchase of fabricated materials, components, equipment etc.. 

This position is a direct hire role that is a long term need for my client. This role is must be worked on-site.

Pay; $50,000-$60,000/Yr.  

  • Bachelors Degree preferred but open to equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of planning /purchasing experience
  • Able to obtain quotations, examine bids and follow up on purchase orders 
  • Negotiate and maintain supply contracts 
  • Maintain inventory levels 
  • Manage purchase orders (up to $10,000) by working with MRP reports 
  • Understanding of assembly and fabrication drawings 
  • Experience with Visual (or similar) ERP/MRP system 
  • MS office experience 
  • APICS certification preferred
