About the Opportunity
This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co. a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [SC00]
Work locations include - Cleveland, OH Connellsville, PA or Bethel, PA with the opportunity to work remote on either Monday or Friday each week per company policy. The Summer 2026 session will take place from May 18th, 2026-August 21st, 2026.
As a participant in the Co-op/Intern Professional Development Program, you will be cultivating professional skills and perform professional level work at FirstEnergy. Each participant will receive on-the-job training, mentoring, experiential learning and challenging assignments to refine skills and round out competencies.
As a Materials Management Intern at FirstEnergy, you will gain hands-on experience supporting inventory control, warehouse operations, and supply chain processes that directly support field and operational needs. You will work with real-world materials data to help improve material availability, accuracy, and efficiency across the organization. Additionally, you will be empowered to develop on-the-job skills and practical knowledge in materials planning, inventory analysis, and process improvement. Interns will gain exposure to enterprise systems, reporting tools, and materials management technologies used in a utility environment.
