The Opportunity

This is a senior supply chain role at a family-owned wine and spirits business with a growing portfolio of premium brands and an established international presence. You would report directly to the Vice President of Operations and own supply chain end to end: procurement, production, inventory, forecasting, logistics, and distribution.

It is a hands-on leadership role with direct reports, and it is not a narrow functional seat. You would work alongside Finance, Sales, and Operations, and help shape both the supply chain strategy and the systems that support it.

Why This Opportunity Is Worth a Look

  • Compensation: $150,000–$190,000 base plus bonus
  • Reporting line: Direct to the VP of Operations, with regular work alongside senior leadership
  • Scope: Procurement, production, inventory, demand forecasting, logistics, and distribution, across existing and new brands
  • Systems influence: You would drive NetSuite process implementation and optimization across the operation
  • Team: You manage and develop direct reports and build out the supply chain function
  • Business: A premium brand portfolio that is growing, in the wine and spirits category

Your Day-to-Day

  • Design and implement supply chain strategies across procurement, production, inventory, and distribution
  • Improve demand forecasting, stock management, and replenishment to keep inventory at the right levels
  • Manage supplier and vendor relationships, including ongoing price negotiations and service benchmarking
  • Lead cross-functional projects with clear plans, milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Build and refine KPI reporting so performance, milestones, and risks are visible
  • Use data analytics to find and deliver measurable efficiency and cost improvements
  • Oversee the R&D and procurement of raw materials
  • Support the VP of Operations on vendor contracts and make sure supply chain processes meet legal and contractual requirements
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain and logistics risks to protect continuity of supply
  • Close gaps across people, processes, and systems with practical solutions
