Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

X-Bow is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to strategically manage the Supply Chain for one or more Solid Rocket Motor programs. The Supply Chain Manager will plan, direct and manage the full spectrum of supply chain activities for government and commercial programs, including procurement and logistics. Candidates should be able to take a strategic view of the supply chain, while being able to tactically and independently execute the day-to-day procurement and logistics activities of a complex, multi-site program in a growing and agile startup environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide strategic leadership of the supply chain activities for one or more government programs.

• Manage supplier and subcontractor activities, including milestone and delivery schedules, as part of a cross-functional supplier management team.

• Act as a key member of program teams, representing the supply chain function, reporting schedule and budget status for the Bill of Materials and all subcontractor activity.

• Prepare compliant RFQs and Purchase Orders, based on industry best practices and FAR guidelines.

• Lead cross-functional sourcing decisions for complex parts across commodities.

• Utilize existing inventory and purchasing systems to place purchase orders, track incoming and outgoing inventory, and monitor program spend.

• Ensure implementation of the Quality Management System for supply chain related activities.

• Plan and schedule required transportation activities as required, working with internal and external logistics partners.

• Work collaboratively with other members of the Supply Chain team to improve internal processes and procedures.

• Identify and address Supply Chain risks and opportunities, maintaining fostering strong relationships with key suppliers.
