Currently, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team. This is a crucial role that will be responsible for the end-to-end management and strategic evolution of our supply chain. The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical leader who can optimize our sourcing, logistics, and inventory processes to support our ambitious growth plans. The role of this team member is best suited to someone who has experience with supply chain development within the custom manufacturing industry, is action-oriented, hands on, and is comfortable working outside the box; our playgrounds don’t fit within regular building code categories.
The role:
- Partner with senior leadership to optimize the current supply chain strategy, aligning with Earthscape Play’s business goals, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness and quality
- Collaborate with senior leadership and support the planning and execution of departmental workflows, accountabilities, and goals for supply chain staff on daily and weekly basis
- Oversee the sourcing and procurement of all raw materials, including timber and specialized play components. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials
- Manage cross-border purchasing considerations, including the calculation and management of customs and duties (both inbound and outbound), and ongoing coordination with customs brokers to ensure compliance and minimize delays
- Directly manage inventory levels, determining optimal reorder points and quantities. Oversee the physical verification of stock through ongoing cycle counting processes and the successful management of an annual physical count
- Manage and optimize the logistics of material inbound and outbound shipments, both domestically and internationally. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production plans
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our overall operational performance
- Participate in the coordination of engineering changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
- Contribute to the growth of the business in keeping with the company culture, values and long-term strategy.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial role
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or custom-build environment, with a strong understanding of material sourcing and logistics for large, unique projects
- Postsecondary education in business, management, operations, engineering or other related discipline is an asset
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and solve complex problems
- Experience working and leading cross-functionally while assuming a position of accountability
- Strong organizational and time management experience with keen attention to detail
- Experience coordinating multiple projects or tasks of varying sizes, phases and complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- A growth mindset, and eagerness to learn from your mistakes
- A creative mind and willingness to think outside the box
Systems & Technology
- Proficiency with major Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Sage
- Experience in ERP system implementation, data migration, configuration, and post-go-live support with systems like Acumatica
- Proficiency in setting up and managing inventory control methods such as reorder points, cycle counting, and utilizing radio frequency identification barcode scanning technologies
- High proficiency in Google Suite, including Sheets, Docs, and Meet
- Ability to develop reports/dashboards in platforms like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI

Salary Range
$90,000 - $100,000 per year based on experience
