About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead all supply chain operations, from demand planning and scheduling to supplier management and inventory optimization. This is a high-impact role that drives operational excellence, supports cross-functional teams, and ensures on-time delivery performance for internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all supply chain activities, including demand planning, production scheduling, supplier follow-up, and inventory management.
  • Oversee materials planning (MRP) processes to ensure accurate data integrity, forecasting, and execution that support company sales goals and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipment performance, identifying and resolving process inefficiencies.
  • Utilize tracking systems (including PFEP and S&OP) to meet supply chain performance metrics and standards.
  • Develop and implement automated systems to track and manage material flow across procurement, production, and delivery.
  • Align material management policies with corporate inventory control objectives.
  • Collaborate with divisional and corporate supply chain teams on supplier management, purchasing strategies, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through Lean and Six Sigma principles, Kanban systems, and process optimization projects.
  • Support supplier consolidation, quality certification initiatives, and supplier-managed inventory programs.
  • Manage departmental budgets and oversee professional development for materials and supply chain team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS, corporate, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive supply chain or materials management experience.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, project management, and Six Sigma tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
