Supply Chain Management/Logistics Internship - Summer 2026

JOB SUMMARY

This position will support warehousing, distribution and fleet operations through process control & improvement initiatives, assume responsibility for integrity for assigned products, establishes & maintains external & internal customer contacts, documents & prepares task specific work instructions & maintain knowledge of job cost & develop/implement appropriate plans to improve profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Develop new and refine existing supply chain fulfillment criteria and work instructions.
• Develop new and refine existing supply chain fleet delivery routes.
• Support distribution of casting supplies, WIP and process related goods supporting supply chain efforts for Howmet Aerospace divisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Distribution Warehouse / Fleet Operations in the completion of assigned projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
• Currently enrolled in the pursuit of a degree toward a BS in Supply Chain / Logistics / Transportation Management.
• ​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Distribution, supply chain or transportation experience preferred.
