A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Act as the primary liaison between Assembly and Extrusion teams, facilitating effective communication, synchronizing production schedules, and resolving operational bottlenecks. Ensure that material flow and resource allocation support seamless workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Controls the flow of raw and finished goods, services, and information between point of origin through receipt at the manufacturing site, through to customer placement in order to meet customer or manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of ops scheduling processes, such as MPS, BY systems data update, demand management, RM and capacity revision for production.
  • Ensures that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet marketing and financial objectives.
  • Builds relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers through the resolution of delivery issues.
  • Integrates market intelligence from operating entities, distribution, transportation, suppliers, and customers to continuously improve competitive position.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations
  • OR Associate's Degree with 2+ years experience
  • OR Baccalaureate Degree with 1+ years experience.

Nice to Have

  • 10+ years of experience supporting Danvers manufacturing operations
  • Direct experience working in the BY (Blue Yonder) system
  • Previous experience supporting supply chain planning
  • Previous experience with supply chain planning
  • Demonstrated experience to monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as plan vs. actual, on-time delivery, and production yield, and to regularly review these metrics with cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Assembly, Extrusion, and Planning teams to ensure alignment, share updates, and resolve challenges efficiently.
  • Proven skill in capturing lessons learned and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote best practices and continuous improvement within a manufacturing supply chain environment.
  • Strong competency in identifying operational risks (e.g., supply interruptions, equipment downtime) and implementing effective contingency plans to minimize impact on production and supply chain performance.
  • Digital Communication & Reporting: Proficiency with digital tools or dashboards for real-time tracking and transparent communication of planning changes, deviations, and resolutions with all stakeholders.
  • Continuous Learning & Feedback Culture: Ability to foster a culture of adaptability and growth by encouraging team feedback on processes and actively seeking opportunities for process improvement.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$60,800.00 - $91,200.00

 

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
