The Plan to Stock Value Stream encompasses the preparation and planning for production build for a customer product. This Value Stream, which is dependent on having a complete product design and authorization from the Program Office, involves a range of activities that ensure the necessary resources and materials are in place to meet customer demand. It includes forecasting and demand management, simulation and production planning, and the management of production schedules, capacity, and inventory. The Value Stream also involves coordinating with suppliers, managing material requirements, and optimizing production workflows to ensure efficient and effective production. By integrating these various activities, the Plan to Stock Value Stream enables the company to effectively plan and prepare for production, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled on time and to the required quality standards.
