POSITION OVERVIEW 

Under the supervision of the Stores & Transportation Supervisor, employee will perform a variety of daily tasks, while ensuring the proper processing/handling of aircraft parts/materials in the Materials Department in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Responsible to maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • Asist Materials Specialist with daily duties. 

  • Packing and Unpacking of materials. 

  • Counting/Audit of material in warehouse for comparison to Ramco Inventory for accuracy 

  • Limited data input supervised by a materials specialist. 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS 

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Good writing and communication skills 

  • Able to lift and handle freight items 

  • Warehousing experience preferred 

  • Valid vehicle driver’s license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.  The employee is frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel, and to grasp, pull or carry items.  While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and handle freight of many sizes/shapes/weights.
