Founded in 1959, Alliance Mercantile Inc., is a large multinational manufacturer of waterproof outerwear, hi visibility safety garments, industrial safety footwear, FR clothing, work gloves, and consumer packaged goods serving the industrial, retail, ad specialty markets, as well as the drug, grocery and mass retailers.
We are looking for a full time experienced Supply Chain Coordinator based out of out Burnaby Head Office.
Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy between physical counts and system records
- Coordinate stock transfers between distribution centers
Purchasing & Procurement
- Generate and manage purchase orders
- Track shipment progress and delivery timelines
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipping documentation
Logistics & Transportation
- Liaise with custom brokers to facilitate inbound shipment clearance
- Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely delivery to distribution centers
Shipping
- Work with warehouse teams to prepare and issue Advanced Shipping Notices and shipping labels
Vendor & Supplier Relations
- Resolve issues related to shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, returns, and defective products
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, warehouse, and finance teams to support customer service and operational requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience working in supply chain
- Minimum 2 year diploma Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration
- Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office
