POSITION SUMMARY

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for analyzing and improving supply chain operations to ensure the efficient flow of materials, products, and information from suppliers through delivery. This role leverages data analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to identify opportunities that reduce cost, improve service levels, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

The Supply Chain Analyst serves as a key link between procurement, operations, logistics, and inventory management functions by providing data-driven insights that support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Collects, interprets, and analyzes logistics and supply chain data, including product availability, system reliability, inbound shipment status, and inventory transactions
  • Tracks product flow from origin to delivery to ensure efficiency and identify bottlenecks
  • Reviews supply chain processes and identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to minimize delays and reduce costs
  • Uses analytical methods and tools to evaluate, predict, and improve logistics operations and inventory accuracy
  • Monitor warehouse operations and inventory transactions, including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory integrity
  • Analyzes macroeconomic and market trends and supports decision-making (e.g., material pricing, hedging considerations)
  • Develops and maintains reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to support supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Metal hedging - Monitor, analyze, and make recommendations for our aluminum hedging.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or data analysis
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP or supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

The anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $26.00 to $39.25. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
