Richelieu Hardware is seeking a Supply Chain Advisor for the Head Office located in Ville Saint‑Laurent.

We are looking to fill a Supply Chain Advisor position to support our team dedicated to strategic projects. These projects may involve distribution networks, logistics flows, systems, and operational processes.

In this role, you will act as a business partner for various supply chain functions by conducting complex analyses, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to the design of solutions that optimize operations and support the company’s growth.

You will actively participate in a variety of supply chain–related projects. You will be required to combine data analysis, operational understanding, and project management to transform data into concrete and measurable recommendations.

You will also play a key role in supporting users during the implementation of new solutions by assisting with training, communication, and adoption of new processes and tools.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the role include:Project Participation and Strategic Impact

  • Participate in projects that have a direct impact on the company’s growth
  • Contribute to the evolution of the North American distribution network

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Analysis and Optimization

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to supply chain operations
  • Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve performance, service levels, and costs
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and decision‑support tools
  • Perform scenario analyses and provide recommendations based on data and operational needs
  • Produce reports and presentations to support decision‑making and initiative tracking

Projects and Operational Transformation

  • Act as a lead or key contributor on various supply chain project components
  • Participate in defining business requirements and evaluating potential solutions
  • Coordinate project activities and ensure follow‑up on deliverables, timelines, and risks
  • Participate in validation, implementation, and benefits‑measurement activities for deployed solutions
  • Produce reports, analyses, or dashboards to support decision‑making and project monitoring

Operational Support and User Enablement

  • Support users in adopting systems, tools, and operational best practices
  • Provide assistance to operational teams and follow up on process‑ or system‑related issues
  • Prepare and maintain tools, procedures, user guides, and operational documentation
  • Deliver training to users on existing tools, systems, and processes

Consulting, Continuous Improvement, and Network Optimization

  • Conduct operational diagnostics across different sectors of the organization
  • Map and analyze current processes to identify optimization opportunities
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Provide recommendations based on data, field observations, and industry best practices
  • Participate in network optimization studies, logistics modeling, or capacity analyses when required
  • Contribute to scenario evaluations related to distribution networks, logistics flows, and inventory strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Operations & Logistics Management), Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, continuous improvement, consulting, or business analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, visualization, and interpretation applied to operations and supply chain
  • Experience supporting users, delivering training, or providing operational support
  • Experience managing or coordinating multidisciplinary projects
  • Experience in network optimization, logistics modeling, or capacity studies
  • Strong knowledge of distribution, procurement, inventory, and transportation processes
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other analytical tools (an asset)
  • Solid understanding of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems
  • Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written
  • Occasional availability to travel to our divisions across Canada and the United States
