We're sharing this posting to keep you informed of the vacancy.   BC Place is hiring a full-time Stadium Operations Coordinator. Reporting to the Assistant General Manager, the Stadium Operations Coordinator provides high-level administrative, operational and project support across the Stadium Operations department.  This is a dynamic, highly varied role for an individual who enjoys working across multiple areas, learning new things, solving problems and stepping in whenever needed to support the successful operation of BC Place.   The Stadium Operations Coordinator works closely with the AGM and assists in coordinating information, following through on actions and keeping initiatives moving.  The roles combines administrative support with hands on operational responsibilities, including the planning and execution of internal events and oversight of parking operations.   This position requires a highly organized, proactive and resourceful individual who can move comfortably between administrative work, project coordination and operational delivery.  The successful candidate will be a “jack of all trades” who is comfortable working in a fast-paced stadium environment and is eager to learn, take on new challenges and jump in where support is needed.   The salary for this position is $52,678 – $65,847   WHAT YOU WILL DO: Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the Assistant General Manager, including calendar management and meeting coordination Help manage priorities, deadlines, action items and information flowing through the Stadium Operations department Prepare agendas, meeting materials, minutes and action trackers for internal and external meetings Support the preparation of reports, presentations, business cases and other materials Maintain a strong understanding of department priorities and proactively identify items requiring action or follow-up Lead the planning and execution of all internal BC Place events, meetings, celebrations, team functions and other initiatives Coordinate all aspects of internal events, including building set, catering and AV, etc… Coordinate internal stakeholders and any external suppliers to ensure events are well planned and successfully delivered Support department-wide initiatives and special projects from planning through to implementation Take ownership of projects that fall outside traditional departmental responsibilities and drive them to completion Lead the day-to-day coordination of BC Place parking operations and related operational requirements Provide operational support across the Stadium Operations department Step into emerging operational needs and provide coordination and hands-on support during events, projects and periods of increased activity Support the development and implementation of operational processes, tools, procedures and initiatives Coordinate information between departments and ensure actions are clearly assigned and followed through Build knowledge of BC Place operations and develop an understanding of how the various functional teams work together to deliver events Demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence, teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement Build positive working relationships across BC Place and with tenants, contractors, suppliers and external partners Maintain flexibility to take on new responsibilities as priorities evolve Perform other duties and special projects as assigned   WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 2 years experience Experience in event coordination, administrative, event, hospitality, venue or operations environment Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, events or multiple competing priorities Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work effectively with people at all levels of an organization Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and take initiative without waiting to be directed Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Ability to remain calm, organized and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work events, weekends and event days as required   HOW TO APPLY:   If you would like to be considered for this position, please submit your resume and cover letter by clicking on the ‘Apply Now’ button below before 5pm, Monday, October 5, 2026.   Please ensure you have discussed your interest in this position with your Manager.
