Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated operations leader to join our team. This role is responsible for overseeing all fulfillment operations — ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies — across omni-channel fulfillment including D2C, B2B, and FBA. The ideal candidate is a systems-driven leader with a proven track record managing complex operations, building scalable processes, and driving measurable improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Fulfillment Operations Leadership

  • Oversee end-to-end fulfillment operations including order processing, inventory management, and shipping logistics across D2C, B2B, and FBA channels
  • Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a positive and accountable work environment
  • Set clear goals and objectives tied to operational KPIs; monitor performance to ensure targets are met
  • Manage resources effectively — personnel, equipment, and materials — within budgetary constraints
  • Establish and maintain a healthy and safe work environment onsite

2. Inventory Control & Quality Assurance

  • Own inventory accuracy and quality standards across inbound, storage, and outbound operations
  • Manage cycle count programs, variance resolution, and inventory accuracy targets
  • Develop and enforce QA protocols; investigate discrepancies and implement root cause solutions
  • Own WMS accuracy including bin management, lot tracking, and system reconciliation
  • Partner with Supply & Demand Planning to ensure inventory data integrity

3. FBA Prep & Shipments

  • Own end-to-end FBA prep operations including labeling, packaging, and shipment creation
  • Maintain SOPs aligned with Amazon compliance requirements to minimize chargebacks
  • Optimize FBA shipment planning in coordination with Amazon and Supply Chain teams
  • Track performance metrics including throughput, accuracy, and cost per unit

4. Returns & Reverse Logistics

  • Own end-to-end returns operations including receiving, inspection, disposition, and system updates
  • Develop SOPs and quality standards for grading and disposition
  • Build reporting on return rates, reasons, recovery rates, and cycle time
  • Partner with Customer Service and Ecommerce teams on return execution and process improvement

5. Process Improvement & Systems

  • Identify areas for operational improvement and implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency
  • Partner with IT on WMS enhancements, system integrations, and automation opportunities
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update SOPs across all owned functions
  • Maintain CI project tracking with defined ownership, timelines, and measurable results
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective measures

6. Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Prepare regular reports on operational performance — key metrics, trends, and improvement areas — for senior management
  • Foster open communication channels within the operations team and across departments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and planning teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and inventory accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, fulfillment, or supply chain management
  • Proven track record managing complex operational tasks with strong leadership and accountability
  • Hands-on experience with WMS platforms (NetSuite preferred)
  • Familiarity with Amazon FBA requirements and compliance standards
  • Strong analytical skills — ability to measure, communicate, and drive performance improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across all levels
  • Proven ability to build SOPs and improve operational workflows in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience in high-growth eCommerce or omnichannel environments
  • Experience in international distribution and 3PL leadership
  • Strong systems mindset with experience driving automation or tooling improvements
