Sports Club Operations Intern

The Sports Club Operations Intern supports daily operations at the Boar’s Head Sports Club, assisting the front desk and collaborating with multiple departments including aquatics, fitness, housekeeping, court maintenance, and membership services. This paid internship provides hands-on exposure to club operations, event coordination, and member services while supporting the delivery of exceptional hospitality experiences. The role offers practical learning opportunities and professional development within a luxury resort environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily front desk and club operations.
• Support aquatics center services including check-in and towel service.
• Help maintain indoor and outdoor tennis courts and club facilities.
• Assist with club events such as swim meets, tournaments, and holiday programming.
• Provide professional and courteous service to members and resort guests.
• Conduct facility walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and operational readiness.
• Assist with inventory, scheduling support, and operational coverage as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of club programs and services.
• Follow Boar’s Head Resort service standards and safety procedures. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred, ideally in hospitality, recreation, or sports club environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, energetic attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
